Renewable Heating Incentive survives Spending Review

The Government have announced that the Renewable Heating Incentive will be in place by June 2011 with the tariffs to be published by the end of this year.

This will enable householders to claim a payment for the heat that their Ground Source Units extract from the Ground.

The scheme is to be backdated to November last year so that all householders that have a Kensa pump installed since then will be able to claim the incentive.
