Aquasource Ltd, have just completed a deep well water borehole for St Columb Parish Council in Cornwall to serve an allotment.
The location of the borehole ruled out the economical installation of an electrical pump and the depth of the water table meant that an ordinary well hand operated lift pump would not work.
After much research Aquasource sourced and installed a hand operated deep well pump lifting from 25m depth in the 40m deep well.
These pumps are more usually installed in the remoter parts of Africa to supply clean water to villagers.
