Aquasource (SW) Ltd have completed the refurbishment of and improvements to the water supply to National Trust Property, Cadworthy Farm, on Dartmoor.
The farm had been served by an unsafe borehole supply which was assessed to have needed improvement to comply with the PWSR (2009) regulations.
The system was upgraded to comply with the latest regulations and was installed under the guidance and supervision of Andy Case of Case Enviromental.
The supply will provide safe clean drinking water to national trust volunteers staying in the farmhouse.
Challenges included the lack of a mains electricity supply to the wellhead which Aquasource solved by utilising a variable speed pump powered by solar panels with a battery backup.
